One team one goal

Our mission is to help
those in need remain
safe, healthy and happy
in their own homes.

"I want to thank all of you for the excellent care that you gave to my wife during the period of her last declining year, and months, days, and finally, hours. Although it was not a pleasant time for J, you did all you could to make it truly Heaven at Home. Both Jamie and Delores were quick to discover the cause of any new problem and relay the information to the hospice nurses. They also tried their best to keep J calm concerning her approaching death. Both of them are truly angels. They helped J and I during this difficult time."

Home Care with Heaven at Home can provide the appropriate caregiver with the right skills to meet the needs of a client who just needs a little companionship to make life more pleasant … we can help get you through those difficult end-of-life responsibilities … and most any non-medical home care need that falls between. With our home care in Texas we can provide services for just a few hours to relieve a family member who is acting as the primary caregiver. Or, we can provide 24/7 services if needed. Using one of our skilled caregivers may well be able to shorten the length of stay that your parent or loved one has in a hospital.

Remember, you are not obligated by any contracts, so Heaven at Home can help out for a week while you have spend some quality time on vacation with your family or we can provide non-medical home care services until the patient recovers or no longer needs care.

Hygiene Assistance

We help the patient feel better about themselves by attending to the many aspects of personal hygiene. This includes helping them bathe, brush their teeth, dress and groom to prepare for the day. We also make sure the patient’s area is neat and tidy.

Incontinent Care

Incontinence may be either a temporary problem or a long term one. We will work with the patient to identify and encourage the opportunity for toileting by encouraging a routine schedule. We will make suggestions for anything in the surroundings that may make it easier for the patient to toilet. And, of course, we will properly clean and treat the patient when that is required.

Help with Medications

Our caregiver can help with medications that are normally self-administered. They will help ensure that the proper scheduling is met and the proper dosage is taken … along with the “spoonful of sugar” approach that may be required for certain medications.

Impaired Mobility Assistance

The patient may just need a steadying hand or they may need to be lifted into a mobility device. Either way our caregiver will gently and helpfully make sure that the patient can have as much mobility as their condition dictates.

Alzheimer’s Care

Of course, caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease is likely to involve many of the other caregiver services as well. But in addition, our caregiver will help deal with the unique frustrations and limitations that this disease saddles the patient with. Working with the family, we will structure the patient’s day in a way that will maximize their feeling of reward and success.

Meal Preparation

Our caregivers can prepare all of the patient’s meals, making sure that any dietary restrictions or supplements that are prescribed by the doctor are observed every time.

Light Housekeeping

Often, a pleasant environment is key to how the patient feels. Our caregiver can help to ensure the living area is dusted, swept, vacuumed and generally neat.

Errands and Shopping

Getting out of the house can, of course, be very therapeutic. If the patient is capable, our caregiver can provide the needed support for small outings . If the patient is not able to leave the home, the caregiver will assume the responsibility for performing these services as necessary.

Doctor’s Appointments

Our caregiver will make sure that all medical appointments are kept by assisting with the appropriate transportation. Then they will make themselves available to the doctor if there are any changes in the patient’s condition that will have an impact on the care to be given.

Companionship

Sometimes, all that is needed is a friendly face and someone to help pass the day through conversation, reading aloud, playing card games … or just making sure the TV is on the right channel. We will supply a caregiver whose presence can make a long lonely day into an enjoyable respite.

Others per request

If your parent or loved one has needs that go beyond those of normal non-medical home care, simply call and discuss them with us. Often we can provide a caregiver with knowledge and experience in the special area you need.
